Many years after a wise ant taught a grasshopper why hard work matters, their sons meet. Andy the ant works from morning till evening, until cheerful Max the grasshopper reminds him that he also needs time to rest, play, and be with his family. It's a gentle twist on the classic fable that shows children a good life needs balance.

A long time ago, an ant had taught a grasshopper why hard work was important. Many years later, their sons met. Andy the ant was always busy carrying food, fixing his home, and working from morning till evening. Max the grasshopper watched him and asked, “Why do you work so much?”

Andy smiled. “My father taught your father that hard work is important.” Max nodded. “I know that story. But you are working too hard. You also need time to rest, play, and be with your family.” Andy stopped for a moment. He had been so busy that he had forgotten how nice it felt to relax and laugh with the people he loved.

“You are right,” he said. “From now on, I will work hard, but I will also make time for myself and my family.” And that day, Andy learned that a good life needs both hard work and happy moments.
