One day, Emma went to a pet shop with her older sister, Lily. Lily bought a tiny hamster and named her Coco. Emma loved Coco so much that she wanted a hamster too. So Lily bought another one for her and Emma named her Poppy. A few months later, both hamsters became very playful. They climbed curtains, chairs, and furniture around the house.
One day, Poppy fell and hurt herself. Lily gently put medicine on her and said, “Emma, having a pet is a big responsibility. We must keep them safe and care for them.” Emma understood. She bought a roomy cage for Coco and Poppy, where they could climb and play safely without getting hurt.
