Ella was a strong and quick fairy. With a flap of her wings, she could hide the sun, flash lightning across the sky, and make thunder rumble when she was angry. Sometimes, Ella used her powers just because she could. The fairy queen became worried. One day, she took Ella on a walk through the town. There, Ella saw children sleeping on the streets in worn-out clothes, with no toys to play with.
Ella became very quiet. The queen said, “You are lucky to have such wonderful gifts. But many people are struggling. Powers should not be wasted or used carelessly.” Ella looked at the children and understood.
“I didn’t think about that before,” she said softly.
Then she smiled.
“From now on, I will use my magic to help people and make them happy.”
And that was exactly what Ella did.
