Ella, Chloe, and Sophie love playing together in the park, until one day Ella plays only with Chloe and Sophie is left out. Chloe notices that Sophie is hurt and helps her tell Ella how she feels. Ella says sorry, and from then on the three friends make sure no one is ever left out.
Ella, Chloe, and Sophie often played together in the park. But one day, Ella played only with Chloe and kept ignoring Sophie. Sophie sat quietly, feeling hurt. Chloe noticed and asked, “What’s wrong? Why do you look so upset?” Sophie sighed. “Sometimes Ella is mean to me and ignores me. It makes me feel really sad. She should play with both of us, not only with you.”
Chloe listened carefully. “Come on,” she said. “Let’s talk to Ella and tell her how you feel.” The girls went to Ella and explained everything. Ella looked at Sophie and realized she had hurt her feelings. She gently held Sophie’s hand and said, “I’m really sorry, my dear friend. I didn’t mean to make you sad. I won’t ignore you again.”
Sophie smiled, and Chloe smiled too. From that day on, Ella, Chloe, and Sophie played together and made sure no one felt left out.
