Goldilocks and the Three Bears

Once upon a time, there lived a little girl named Goldilocks. She had beautiful golden hair. That is why everyone called her Goldilocks. One day, Goldilocks went into the woods for a walk. She walked and walked... but soon, she could not find her way home. “Oh dear... I think I'm lost.” Just then, she saw a pretty little cottage.
“What a lovely cottage!” Goldilocks did not know that the cottage belonged to three bears. The bears had gone out for a walk. Goldilocks knocked on the door. No one answered. So she opened the door and went inside. On the table, she saw three bowls of porridge. “Oh! I'm hungry.” She tasted the first bowl. “Too hot!” She tasted the second bowl.
“Too cold!” Then she tasted the third bowl. “Ah! This one is just right!” Goldilocks ate it all. After eating, she felt sleepy. She looked around and saw three beds.
She tried the first bed. “Too hard!” She tried the second bed. “Too soft!” Then she tried the little bear's bed. “This one is just right!” Goldilocks climbed into the little bed... and soon fell fast asleep. Meanwhile, the three bears returned home. The baby bear looked at the table. “Someone has eaten my porridge!” The other bears looked at their bowls.
Then Baby Bear looked at his bed. “Someone is sleeping on my bed!” Goldilocks suddenly woke up. She saw the three bears standing nearby! “Oh no!” She jumped out of the bed and ran as fast as she could. She ran through the cottage... out the door...
and all the way through the woods. At last, Goldilocks found her way home. She promised herself that she would never enter someone else's house without permission again. But that night, something strange happened. Goldilocks looked at her beautiful golden hair in the mirror. She remembered the strange cottage... and the golden light she had seen shining through the trees on her way home. “What was that?” Far away, in another kingdom, a very rich king named Midas was looking at something even more mysterious.
Everything he touched... was about to turn into gold. But what happens when a person gets everything they wish for? And what happens when even the things they love... turn to gold? That is the strange story of Midas Touch. moral: We should respect other people's homes and belongings. We should always ask for permission before using something that does not belong to us.
